Established in 2004, Premium IT, then IDCTek (NZ) Ltd, began as a grassroots group of guys who went the extra mile and could troubleshoot any IT issues their client’s encountered.

Today, this 20-strong team’s success is made possible by combining unique customer-centric strategy with specialist engineering, loaded with knowledge and expertise in all things cloud, cybersecurity, and managed solutions to satisfy SME business requirements in a competitive landscape. It’s also made even better because of our high staff retention rate, which keeps service personal and of high integrity.
With specialist engineers experienced across all key IT disciplines, our team is dedicated to supporting our customers via our remote service desk, which regularly rates as highly responsive and acutely resolution focussed. We understand that no two businesses are the same, and we would never treat our customers with a check box approach.

Introducing Ollie
Traditionally, the owl represents wealth, wisdom, luck and prosperity. However, Premium IT has chosen the Morepork, New Zealand’s only native owl as its mascot because in Maori mythology the Morepork represents a silent sentinel who guards and protects the forest.
We feel it’s reminiscent of the way Premium IT protects, guards, manages, and secures its clients’ networks as they grow their businesses now and into the future.
